Isn't it crazy/sad that I feel like the best part of this weekend is already over?

Jeff was here last night, from 9 or so, until this afternoon around 1. I wish our visits weren't so infrequent! Things go so well during the week, but there is still a huge part of me that is missing. I just wish he was closer. And I know it's not possible for him at all, but like I said, just a wish.

The Six Flags fundraiser that was supposed to be today was cancelled. I was half relieved, half worried. Relieved because it was raining like WOAH earlier, and working outside all day would have sucked. Plus, I got to lay in bed with Jeff watching t.v. for an hour or so after we woke up, and then we got to go out to lunch. But... now I am worried because if Pfizer doesn't reschedule this day at the park, the UCMB council will lose $3,000 we were expecting to have in our pockets for the banquet. When you think about it, one event to make $3,000 sure beats all the chair setups that take 2 hours and you only make $100, they don't care how many people are there. We worked really hard to get 50 people to go to Six Flags!!! Ugh. Stupid hurricanes from Florida.

I have done really well today, thus far. Other than being in a sweatshirt and fleece pants all day, I have done all of my reading for 201, and since I don't have plans for this evening, I'm planning on doing more reading... maybe starting the week out a little ahead for once. Who knew I'd ever be able to do that? (I never thought marching band allowed it) I also have to revise my history paper. Did you know that every revision usually raises your score by half a letter grade at least? Crazy... Also, Ernest Hemingway rewrote the final chapter of "A Farewell to Arms" 41 times... 41 freakin times!!!!! That's unbelievable!

Aside from work, though, I have every intention of doing my ENTIRE pilates video... something I haven't done since the summer. I don't know why the idea of the gym sounds so cliche and stupid to me... but for some reason, I'm not a big fan of it here. It's so much better at the Y at home: doulbe the number of better quality machines, and less people. Besides, most of the people (girls anyway) that go there are just a bunch of 100-lb twigs, staying on treadmills for 3 hours just trying to burn the last calorie left in their body. I think I am going to run at the Sherman complex, though. The track is really nice, and I have been staking out times that I have free and there aren't many people there. So we'll see... but for today, a rainy Saturday, I'll still to pilates, and a whole lot of it!

---Shout out to the girls from Southbridge... I definitely miss you guys a ton. There are always people to hang out with when you guys are around!---

Jeff's friends must get reeeaaally bored... during preseason, they "tagged" Jeff's parking spot as such: giant letters, across both sides of the road that said "JEFF'S CAR" in multicolored chalk... two nights ago, they did the same to my Jeep. It said "KELLY'S JEEP", and then had 3 phrases around my car: "UCMB", "Go Sax", and "Pleasure Jeff"... haha. Good thing the rain washed it away...!

I HATE THE PEOPLE THAT LIVE UNDER ME WITH THEIR LOUD MUSIC ON A SATURDAY AFTERNOON! COME ON PEOPLE, WHAT GIVES?! At least they're playing Saves the Day, but come on! Just turn it down.

Lauren Sansoucy gave me an awesome compliment last night... thanks! :) And Paul made me smile while we were singing.

Well, I can't think of much else that will catch you up on my happenings. DMB has been rocking my world, as usual. I think I am going to wear out my cd's. Oh well, it'll be worth it in the end. Time to do pilates. Peace out.

I do not know... how long t'will be... or what the future... holds for me...
