Subject: It's been a long time!

Sooo there's been
hanging out with Tony, a race, a section leader meeting, Olive Garden... It's been a heck of a week! I'll try to bring you up to speed.

I FINALLY saw Tony on Tuesday... for the first time all summer. Yes, it is August. Ridiculous. But it was great to finally get to see him. We hung out for a couple hours, just sitting on my bed eating popsicles. It was good to finally talk about some stuff. It's been so long!! Next time, we're going to kill that 6-pack. It's a date! ;)

I had a 5-mile race on Saturday and it went REALLY well! It was so awesome, the course was amazing. Lots of hills but it was just a great run. Of course it was about a thousand degrees outside, so I was pretty drenched when I finished the race. But it was awesome. I love running!!

The last section leader meeting of the summer was on Saturday as well. Saturday was such a bust day! It went really well, despite the crazy heat and humidity. So the meeting was really good. Lots of music, and Tricia put me on the spot for a good 15 minutes while I was teaching music. I guess that's what makes friends good: people who push you to do your best when you just want to give up.

So after the meeting was OLIVE GARDEN with Cody, Matty B, Munchie, Coffill, and Girosky. The breadsticks were amazing! It was so good to just eat and hang out. And afterwards, Munchie and I just sat around and watched FRIENDS, which is clearly the best end to a night EVER!!!!!!!!

This is my last week at the Pike. I only have 3 more days left... and only 2 more days left working with Marty!! We're so sad. I mean we'll be back in the winter, but this is our last couple of summer days ever!! I hope we get to talk more this year than we did last year after the summer. So sad.

Next week is preseason! I can't believe it's actually here... and that it's the last one. It's going to be so much fun but it's going to be sad when it's over. I just can't believe this is my last year of college...

On that note, peace out!
