long weekend...!
friday: dad finally left to go get danny's boat. mom was in and out all day b/c she was still moving her stuff out. i ran errands most of the day and then headed to joe's house for a night of beta rho... d free! galina and shannon couldn't make it :( but they were missed! it was fun: joe cooked for us (what was it? papaya, matt? lol) and then we settled in with a movie (death to smoochy... very funny and yet another remarkable side to robin williams). when we finally went upstairs to "sleep" there was craziness- hide and seek, and plenty of chit-chatting (kate rubs off on ya after awhile...). from now on: kate gets no love! one out-of-line comment: it's SO over!
saturday: woke up, breakfast and showers all around, and then out to sara sabs' where we sat on the pavement with glenn before realizing that the meeting wasn't where we were. lol. sooo we got the right place, and headed over there. dmills managed to talk for an hour! but it's good stuff... i am very much looking forward to next season. preaseason is going to be tons of work... but a blast as usual. i'm so excited. after the meeting, it was off to girosky's graduation party. it was so good to see him! and the tonemeister! great day filled with sun and playing outside. then the rainshower... and i headed home.
last night was a great time with munch, joe, jay, sherri, katie, leo, and lisa: we played camoflage outside and then retreated up to jay's loft for tons of fun, dancing, etc. haha... (it was finally a dance party, right kates?) i came home midnight-ish... and went to bed exhausted from the past 2 days' engagements.
today, it was sunny again. i went to my aunt's to get my mail and hung out there for awhile. then to uconn to pick up dad's present. (he still isn't home yet, but he'll get it eventually) then to munchie's to scare the living hell out of her while she was in the shower. (lol)
things i am looking forward to:

-starting my job, this week hopefully...
-jeep jeep jeep, this week, hopefully...!
-getting to shs to see mr.c
-uncle jim's band playing out/emmett's birthday party
-coffee break for council
-balloons for kkpsi

-galina's
-trip to shippensburg for installation... let me know if you are interested, i'm def going!
-council meeting
-possible guster concert?

-another council meeting
-aerosmith concert!
-kkpsi summer campout
-preseason
-JOHN MAYER CONCERT!
...and of course...
things i am not looking forward to:
-gas money- long car trips for short engagements :(
-losing my valued hours of sleep by returning to uconn
-munchie's trip to florida in july
-katie's trip to texas in august
-my parents' wedding anniversary
-packing... again
-missing 2002's seniors
-returning to school without that little piece of myself that i so enjoyed...
-the d word that comes with being at school...
i think that's enough for the negatives. (*sigh*) still going to be a long summer, don't you think?
