Subject: A little game I like to call catch up.
-Half Marathon-- went pretty well. The weather was awful- gross and rainy all day. Running in it was pretty freakin gross, too. BUT, seeing almost all of my Reach the Beach friends was REALLY GREAT! It was awesome to hang out afterwards and get a nice cold drink... or two... or three... but it was a really great day. Even if it was really gross outside.
-Andy and Kate's marathon training kickoff party was really fun. We started at The Bell in Hand and ended up at The International, where there was much drinking and dancing. I had a wicked hangover the next morning to prove that I had a great night! But it was really fun- Andy and I stayed at Clare Bear's, complete with Max, the awesomely entertaining overweight feline :) It was really fun.
-Manchester Road Race-- I can't remember the last time I ran a race that wasn't in the pouring fricken rain. It was GROSS. But, somehow I ended up running a PR! It was great. I met up with Shaun (my fiance- ha, we wish) in the morning and then met up with Tony mid-race as I was dragging ass up a hill. Miraculously, Matt found us right at the end, so it was great. Really gross, but great. The morning was a bit hellish-- Mia played with my ChampionChip and LOST it... I somehow found it underneath the fridge (thank God) and then I managed to lose my bib number all by myself, which I'm mad about because I hang them all up on my wall. Damn it! But I found the Chip, so my time was recorded. And I was very happy about my time :)
-Thanksgiving was a really busy day. Race in the morning, then shower, then Memere's, then Munchie's. It was great to see everyone, but it was a really crazy day. And I worked at EMS the whole day after!! I was wiped out!
-UCONN vs. CINN was a decent day. It was SO GOOD to see people- especially AJ!!! It was a fun day- chauffeuring Tony around was pretty fun, too. It started at the airport... from there, it was the game, Margaritas, Dunkin Donuts, and then finally over to the Shelta. It was a decent time... really weird, still. It was an interesting night afterwards, too. Nuff said.
-Sunday morning I woke up at 5:45 a.m. throwing up. Random?!?! But it made for a really boring day in bed... ALLLLLL DAY.... and I slept... ALLLL DAY. It was kind of nice, but it would have been better if I wasn't feeling like shit. But I did decide to redo my bedroom and bathroom... and I picked out all the stuff for it, too! :) Sweet.
-LOTS of changes coming up in the future... important changes... and things I can't talk about here. If you're important to me, you probably already know.
...where everything is black and white...
