Subject: I forgot I have a blog...
So here I am with a few random thoughts!
*Racing season is just about upon us!! I'm really excited- it should be a really great year as far as running goes. I'm looking forward to all the hard training I'm going to have to do. I actually went to the gym twice yesterday- I wasn't happy with how my morning run went so after EMS I thought to myself "hey, you still have some time to fix today," so I did! I'm a little sore today, but that's ok. I've got some great races lined up already:
3/4 ShamRock & Roll 5k
4/1 LOCO GREAT BAY HALF MARATHON
5/27 BOSTON'S RUN TO REMEMBER HALF MARATHON
8/? Litchfield Hills Road Race
9/14-9/15 EMS REACH THE BEACH RELAY
10/? RRI's Rise and Run 5k/10k
10/? Great Bay 5k
10/13 BALTIMORE MARATHON
T-giving- Manchester Road Race
...I'm sure I'll have a few more to add. I'm trying to stick to local races (MA, CT, NH) so I don't have to do too many weekend trips this year... I want to make sure I'm ready to kick that marathon's ass and still be able to walk afterwards!! Most of all, I am looking forward to that and Reach the Beach. RTB is just an amazing time with great people, but most of all, you're surrounded by RUNNERS, crazy people like yourself, who get a kick out of running for 24+ hours straight. Not many people, you'd think... and then you get there, and there are just people everywhere. And everyone is a runner. And you get to spend all weekend with them. So awesome. And the MARATHON is a huge goal of mine, and if I can just get one under my belt, it will open up a world of opportunities for me and running. I'm psyched. I hope it goes well.
*I have had cable now for 2 1/2 days... and it's already out for some reason! But, I have cable. Amen.
*Tony, Matt, and I had some bonding time last night, which was great. I hope we hang out more, cause those two mean more to me than everyone else that I know combined. They've just stuck it out through everything: car accidents, break ups, relationships, housing troubles, job problems, graduations, stupid fights, serious fights... they're great.
*24 is on tonight so I'd better head out. I need to get in some pilates before heading out to watch the greatest show ever.
Peace--- and BUY (RED) PRODUCTS- SUPPORT THE CAUSE!
