After a drought in the Blog...

I'm back! Maybe not better than ever, but back nonetheless.

Preseason was crazy! I lasted most of the week, but yesterday morning brought a crazy fever and feeling so dizzy I couldn't walk straight. I sat out all day yesterday, which sucks b/c we learned drill for the opener and I don't know it. Hopefully I will be marching it today... without my instrument, but still... marching! Last night I got the "royal treatment" of the Charter Oak Suites. Thank you... I missed you.

As for my emotional well-being? There are some things going on... a few negatives, but a few positives, and in the scheme of things the positives way outweigh the negatives. I look forward to the year... aside from being sick and tired, I look forward to what else the stars might have with my name on it. Everything happens for a reason... Why fight it? (Right, Kate?)

Sorry this is so short, but I need to take off before I start talking. I need to shower and then get in touch with Julianne for lunch. Good times... Glad to have her here at UCONN!
