Subject: My 200th post... and a lot of catching up to do.

Last weekend: Last weekend I went to Maine and New Hampshire with Tony. It started out with snow and ice and stuff on Friday morning, cancelling my exam (luckily, my professor has half a brain and e-mailed it to us... he was awesome) and also cancelling our travel plans. So instead, Glenn, Matt, and Tony came over and brought wings and beer. Mmm! So we stayed in and drank and had a really good time! Glenn left early (he shouldn't have!) and then the 4 of us proceeded to get pretty sloppy and crash around the apartment laughing all night.

Saturday morning, Tony and I headed out. The day started with him "losing" his debit card, but then realizing it was in his wallet- way to go ;) - and then we really headed out. We had a good trip with lots of great tunes and talks. We met his sister Christine up at the Kittery outlets (I <3 that place) and then we went up to visit Carey, Jack, and Tom. That was really fun... those boys are absolutely adorable! And Jack knew who I was, which was AWESOME... When Carey was changing his diaper, she said "Wasn't it nice of Uncle Tony to come visit?" and Jack goes "Yeah... and Kelly too!" So hooray for that. I fell in love with those boys- so cute.

By the time we got back to Christine's house in New Hampshire, I was wiped out. It had been a long day. After a couple of glasses of wine, I was nearly asleep, and then we started watching a movie. I think all 4 of us passed out at some point during it, but soon thereafter we went to bed.

Sunday: Sunday we got up, had breakfast (breakfast piles... doesn't sound good, but it is) and then headed out. We had a good trip back as well. It was just a fun weekend!

I did a TON of thinking and looked at things in a completely different way, which was really great. I really think that as of that Sunday morning, my mind has changed about a lot of things, and I am surprised about it, but also relieved.

This past week has been getting back into the swing of things. I worked Monday and Tuesday at the Child Labs. Monday, there was a death in the "child labs family" and Mary was a mess all day, so the students ran the preschool room. I have to admit, it was fun. Tuesday I did afternoon group time (yay!) and had a really great time with the kids. I love them! I am working there next semester, which is awesome.

As of Wednesday I have been back at the Pike. Luckily, Marty has been there every day that I have, so he is keeping me company (and also somewhat entertained). I hate the Pike, but all the partons in the Christmas spirit is so much better than usual. They're actually being nice to each other, and to ME, which is a freakin miracle. Luckily, today is Christmas eve, and then I have tomorrow off to play with my family all day! I can't wait- I haven't seen them since Uncle Al's funeral in September. It's going to be an awesome day!

On that note, I need to get going. Lots of stuff to do today before the Pike!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!
