well hello there...

when i said i was going jeep shopping on monday, i wasn't kidding... we left at 8:30 am, and we were gone for 5+ hours, and only found a couple good jeeps. we went to sutton jeep, where they had a pretty nice dark green 2000 sahara... (they also had a silver 2003 sport... mmm...) and then there are a couple in want-ads that my dad wants to check out. we got back at like 2... i went to the doctor's and he gave me a new prescription for whatever i have been sick with...

yesterday was awful... i got up at 11, not feeling really well. mom came over as i was outside getting some sun, and her and dad fought again over some stuff... then mom left... and dad decided to try to talk to me (rather, preach to me) which made me mad. i was sitting at the kitchen table, and i started to feel kind of sick. so i got up to get a drink... dad went outside, and then i hit one knee by the sink. i was so dizzy and thought i was going to pass out. i layed on the kitchen floor until it passed... and then i took a shower and spent the rest of the afternoon napping on the futon. i was really dizzy and lightheaded all day... i think it was the medicine, b/c it said "may cause dizziness"... well shit, dizziness is one thing, but damn near passing out? whew! lol. so, i found out at dinnertime that tony had called me in the morning (we were supposed to beach it), but dad forgot to tell me! i was pretty annoyed... the whole headache of yesterday could have been avoided.

last night i went to friendly's for ice cream with munch, lisa, and sherri. then, i went back to munchie's and we sat until 1 am talking. i don't think her and i have ever had a conversation like that, but it was cool. i really enjoyed it.

TODAY: I HAVE A JOB! i am working at the ymca daycare center as a sub (which means they call me at 6:00 in the morning if i need to work that day.) i don't really mind that, b/c i am really excited to work with the kids! and finally... some degree of responsibility... FINALLY.

tomorrow: beach, maybe? then finding nemo with schwab. friday: beta rho sleepover at joe's. saturday: council meeting at sara sab's in southington, and then girosky's graduation party in the afternoon. it might be a few days before i get back to you!

alright, the weather is getting ugly, looks like storms! yay!

LAZIEST SUNDAY EVER

i am officially bored out of my tree.

on friday, i woke up early and headed to wallingford! for the day. i got there 11:15-ish and hung out with kate until about 12:15 when we headed to meridan (dave's house) for a reunion cookout. food, friends, volleyball, and tons of sun (FINALLY)... generally, good times! it rocked to see them all. next trip: to looong island for a beach day and city night! yesterday i got up early for a car wash for the relay for life. it got rained out pretty quickly (way to go, mother nature...) munch and i then headed to wal mart, toys r us, and strawberries. i picked up tons of stickers for next semester at toys r us. :) at strawberries, i found john mayer's inside wants out and guster's lost and gone forever... both very good albums that have kept me busy for the past 24 hours. i can't get enough of guster! and jm, well... you know! ;)

last night, dan charette's daughter cathy got married in leicester. (dan= police chief in town, and the best man in my parents' wedding) her dress was amazing, strapless with an empire waist, beaded at the top and at the split in the top layer of fabric... awesome dress. i got tons of questions about school as well as at least a million "she looks exactly like her mother"s. i knew a grand total of about 4 people there, and all of which were either over 30 or under 13. that's right, no one in my age group. i spent the night looking at dan's brother and analyzing the striking resemblance he has to one of my ex's (danny, for those of you who knew him). anyway, needless to say i came home from the wedding a little early, BLASTED guster in the car and sang at the top of my lungs the whole way home. ;) tons of fun. great release! then, munch, katie, and leo came over to do nothing for a couple of hours. we dragged out the old pictures (before we discovered tweezers old! lol) and laughed at how dorky we were (were?). lots of fun. it turns out i have a hundred thousand incriminating pictures of munchie, and not a single picture of katie without her tongue hanging out of her mouth. good times...

today has been spent jeep hunting. my dad and i went through every single want advertiser in publication. we called a dozen places, and have plans for tomorrow morning to go and see some of these. i'm psyched: a jeep! hell yeah! most of the ones we found are good-looking 98/99s and LOADED: cd players, soft/hard/bikini tops, extra tires, lifts, etc. we'll see what we can find tomorrow. i love my car, but a jeep? come on now... ;)
