Subject: I moved.
Soooo Eric and I have moved, and I officially live with a boy! Friday the 13th (ironic, considering the day we had) was a BIG day-- I took a day OFF from work. AND I took another day OFF from work this Friday. CRAZY.
-Went to the doctor's in the morning because they are trying to figure out what is wrong with me and my lungs. I'm now on a nebulizer, which is something I have only experienced through the children. It's not fun at all... it makes you really shaky and anxious. And I'm taking a different type of steroid inhaler now, and I've got an appointment at the UCONN Health Center in Farmington. They want me to see a pulmonary specialist. AWESOME.
-Picked up the UHAUL at 1:30.
-Loaded up at Park Place. BY OURSELVES, we moved: 2 dressers, a desk, a table, a living room chair, drawers, a wicked heavy t.v., a t.v. stand, etc. It was heavy and tiring!! We then brought it here and UNLOADED and carried all that crap up 2 flights of stairs. Sound easy?? YOU TRY IT.
-Found that even though we were supposed to, we didn't actually have power. It came on Saturday.
-Brought the UHAUL back at 7:00. It cost us $25 to move :) because we put 3 miles on the truck! But man, was it fun to drive!!
-Went back to Eric's house to shower and pass out.
I woke up on Saturday to start setting everything up. I moved a lot of stuff that was way too heavy, but because of sheer willpower I was able to do it!!
In a nutshell, this is great. For the past few days, my life has been so chaotic, but Eric keeps me grounded. Living with him puts me at peace with everything, it's so great. I'm so excited!
That's all for now- now it's off to get groceries. With a little luck, we'll have some hot water tonight! HOLLER!!
