Subject: Boring and lonely weekend...

Yeah, it's 9:40 on a Saturday night, and here I am, sitting at my computer. It's been kind of a sad weekend, to tell you the truth. Yesterday was a looooong day and I was supposed to go out with Trish and Em, but they changed their minds and decided to stay in instead. I was definitely a little annoyed. But I still went to Tequila Cove, where Tapout was playing. (Kosta recently joned the band.) Jeff was there, and we got to talk some. It was pretty good. I came home around midnight and I was just not in a very good mood. I am PMS-ing (sorry for the overshare) and I was just plain sad. Mike absorbed most of that, luckily. (Thanks)

This morning I slept nice and late (9:00, yes, that's late) and then got ready and went out to run errands. I had to get some things at the mall (and PETCO... yes, I do think of my hamster when I am shopping... but I almost bought a ferret today, too). I ended up making out pretty well without spending too much money. Then I went grocery shopping and I was home by 4. I was pretty tired, and I had to start on my reading. I read for student teaching and I did my 2 portfolio items that I got extensions on (thank goodness I got the extension). I am not quite done with the second one, but I have been working and reading for like 5 hours and I am tired.

I did buy the RENT soundtrack today, which made me really happy. I love that music. And then I had Phil send me the full soundtrack, so now I have every song. It's so uplifting and sad at the same time. I have been listening to it all day.

I have no plans for tonight, and it doesn't look like anything is going to come up. I hate it when Kate is out of town cause it gets so lonely around here. It's going to be sad because she's traveling to precincts stuff nearly every weekend now... I'm gonna need some people around here...

Luckily I am packing enough action for the entire weekend into tomorrow. Tomorrow morning I am working, then meeting up with my (almost... minus Lindsey, and she will be missed!) entire fraternal family and going out to eat... then I am meeting up with Munchie and (hopefully) the best superbowl cake ever and heading to Timmer's house in New Hartford with the entire crew. It's going to be a lot of fun. I definitely miss those guys... Timmer, Tony, Girosky, Annabelle... it's going to be a good time. And with Munchie!!

But until then, I am stuck here with myself and my thoughts... if I don't drive myself freakin crazy by morning, it will be a miracle.

...it (ALL of it) can only go up from here...

Subject: Passion...

I just want to say that right now, my passion, love, and devotion to KKPsi has swelled more in the past hour than it has for the past couple of months. I am totally overwhelmed with it. I love this brotherhood and it's going to be so hard to leave this family...

Subject: Lots of catching up to do...

It's been a looong couple of weeks. Things are really picking up as far as my 2 classes and student teaching go. If I could do my entire degree over, I would definitely get into the School of Family Studies about a semester earlier, take my time with my required courses, and then do student teaching all by itself. It's so freakin overwhelming. I'm trying really hard to take it one day at a time but there is just so much to remember and so much work to get done.

I am (insert "all done" sign here) with winter. I am sick of the cold... and today it started raining, of course I had forgotten my umbrella, but F, it was just cold and gross. I hope spring comes super-early this year.

Some exciting news:
---100 DAYS UNTIL THE CRUISE AS OF TOMORROW!!!
---1 MONTH TILL TEXAS AS OF FRIDAY!!!!
---The search for a new Jeep continues.... we're looking for a black Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with 2 tops and fully loaded inside... :) I'm really looking forward to the day when I can drive that incredible machine!

I have recently started the book "Tuesdays with Morrie"... it's so sad but it's a really good read. Also a really quick read... I began at 9:30 on Sunday at church and read for about a total of 45 or 50 minutes and got 70 something pages into the book. It's a very good life lesson... read it.

It can't go without mentioning that I bought a down comforter and a duvet cover (sorry Munchie hahaha) on Saturday. The cover is DARK PURPLE and it makes my room look all grown up...! But I love it and every day since I got it, it has gotten increasingly harder to get out of bed!!

ALright, I am watching March of the Penguins and it is certainly interesting... so peace out!
