HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!!!!!!!!!!!

This week has been kind of crazy... seems to be a recurring theme around this Blog. I had my Symphonic Band audition on Tuesday- and it went well! Tuesday was also the joint informational for Kappa Kappa Psi/Tau Beta Sigma. I am interested to see what the future holds, in many different aspects. It's nice to anticipate sometimes. Yesterday I had a lunch interview with Becca... It was good to spend some time with her, she is a sweetheart! I'm sad that she and Alicia weren't around when we went through KKPsi. It would have been cool to know them for longer, and get to know them better for that matter... I guess we just have to make up for lost time! Yesterday was also my first Symphonic Band experience... The music kicked my ass mildly for the first hour until I got more comfortable. It's going to take some work, but I will be fine. Last night was the "crazy Beta Rho 10:00pm WalMart night" for pasta and the fixings for the pasta dinner tonight. It was alright, I didn't really get to enjoy it b/c I knew how much work I had left waiting for me when I got home.

This weekend is going to be another crazy one. Friday night is Willibowl. I have yet to determine whether or not I am going to go b/c of the early game on Saturday. It's going to be a really good game (BC) and I am looking forward to it! Saturday night has officially been dibbed as "Quiet Night"... movies, relaxing, and some downtime. I am REALLY looking forward to that, as by that point, it will be much needed and overdue. Saturday night will be a very pleasant experience! Sunday morning is the joint service project... and the brunch at Ian/Schwab/Marti's, but I don't think I will go to that b/c I will probably have something to get done before the KKPsi meeting.

Ahhh... and on that note, I leave you. Peace out!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!!!!!!!!!!

Crazy busy weekend... but a lot of fun as well! Friday was marching band rehearsal 4-6 and the out to dinner at Margaritas... (taco salad: my favorite) and then back here to do a ton of work and fix my printer (it is finally up and running!) so that I would be able to enjoy Saturday night. Saturday was so-called "mini-camp"... basically, it was like another day of preseason, only it was 9-4:30 instead of 8-8. We perfected old learned new drill in the morning, and then the afternoon was full of dancing and running the drum solo, and finally, the show. It is going to be so awesome!

Saturday night was Rapps. I didn't stay for too long, I did have some to drink, but not enough to make me drunk, only enough to make me tired. I didn't enjoy the Rapps scene too much... I think it is something I only enjoy from time to time. I did have a great night afterwards, however. Sunday morning, Jeff woke me up at 8:30 to go to Gales Ferry to help the fire company out. It was a good time, I really miss dealing with the public! Maybe I'll do it again sometime for work... we'll have to see. Last night, joint and then KKPsi. LLLOOOTTTSSS of KKPsi stuff coming up! It's going to be a good semester in my opinion...

I talked to my Mom this morning... She moves into her first apartment on the 21st. I am really excited for her, she seems to be really happy. She and I are at very similar points in our lives right now, despite our age difference, it's almost scary. I'm really glad she'll be on her own soon.

Alright, I have some stuff to take care of right now. It's time to go!

Good times, good times...
