BREAK EDITION 1
Today was dad's surgery and 6 hours of Christmas shopping. The surgery went well, even though his back is still in pain and the drugs haven't worn off completely. I can't believe he's going to have more surgery on Tuesday. Craziness. The Christmas shopping made me a little cranky. I think I was just getting tired of lines and spending money! It's a little rough this year, cause I also have to play Santa for my dad since my mom isn't here. But, I got everyone close to me done. I just have to finish up a few more relatives and some Secret Santa gifts.
I need a job. I have called and gone in EVERYWHERE... Hallmark, GAP, Barnes & Noble, Staples, Yankee Candle, Old Navy, CVS, Brooks, 2 video stores... NO ONE is hiring. Friendly's is, in Sturbridge, and it is my absolute last hope. We'll see... I NEED A JOB!!!!!!!!! I am even considering working next semester. I can't afford to keep doing everything that I do without having some sort of income. We'll see... (*insert very very very frustrated sigh here*)
I need to take a second here and apologize. "I am sorry, I was wrong" (<--- for all those who remember that!): LORD OF THE RINGS ROCKS!!!! I never, ever, in a thousand years though I would say that. But honestly, any story that can keep me that interested and on edge for 12 hours... it's just damn good. Return of the King was INCREDIBLE. I am so sorry I knocked it, guys, it's so awesome. But, I'll still make fun of the cardboard cutouts... *cough*KOSTA!!!*cough*
So Wednesday, I went to Buckland Hills with Katie to see Return of the King with 24 other people. It was awesome. Yesterday, Jeff came here since he was already staying at UCONN. It was so good to spend the day relaxing with him around. I'll see him tomorrow as well, cause I am going to Gales Ferry to visit. It will be a good day, plus I get to spend it with Jeff, what more could I ask for? ;)
On that note, time to go to bed... Gotta get up early tomorrow to work out... otherwise that membership at the Y will go to waste and we wouldn't want that! Goodnight!
MERRY CHRISTMAS
