Sooooooo it is summer.
I am desperately job hunting. It's awful! My ideal situation would be: work full-time (9-5, 8-4, 10-6, whatever, I'm not picky!) Monday-Friday, and then have a part-time night job 2 or 3 nights a week. That would be "ideal". I have my eyes set on banks for right now. They pay well, the hours aren't crazy early or crazy late, and I would be able to have that second job at night. But, I have picked up other random applications (yesterday morning- I just drove around EVERYWHERE and stopped anywhere I thought might possibly consider employing a broke college kid) and am REALLY just hoping one of them calls me back. My financial situation is not allowing me to do ANYTHING... I am down to that last $29 in my bank account, and that is it unless I start bringing some cash in. It is really frustrating... but I am trying to stick it out and hope something comes through for me.
In other news, things are going amazingly well in Jeff's world! He got accepted to grad school at Sacred Heart (in Lisbon), his parents gave him the car, and he got an interview with dispatch. I keep thinking that if I had just a third of his luck... haha! But I am so happy for him- he seems very content with the way things have gone post-graduation so far.
I have yet to get together with all the Southbridge girls! Lisa just got home today, Mike has been home so Katie has mostly been with him, but Munch and I have had our QT. It's nice to get back to friends who aren't involved in EVERYTHING I am... we get a break from each other.
Tomorrow is the alumni concert on the common for the SHS band. (I am so glad I am an alumni of SHS... the place is going down the drain) I think I may go and play but I'm not sure. My saxes are both at my dad's (there just wasn't room here at mom's) which means I would have to stop by there first. Interesting story- I have been there almost every day and have yet to run into my dad. Hmm...
