Subject: A new year (at least that's what they told me in the morning)
Soo apparently it's 2007! I've never been happier to say bye to a year as I was to say bye to 2006. Of course, I wouldn't dream of ringing in the New Year without some craziness. We went to Lucas and Meg's on New Year's eve and drank SO MUCH. It was ridiculous. I don't remember anything from about 10:30 on, except that I woke up on January 1st to the sound of pouring rain and a killer headache. Next year I am going to Munchie's and we are going to watch movies in our pajamas. Mark my words. (You know I'll go back on them!)
Other than that, I am excited for 2007 because it's going to be a crazy year of running (knock on wood) for me. I am running 2 half marathons: April 1 and May 27... I'm going to back off a bit and only do my favorite races for 07: Litchfield Hills, RRI Rise & Run, and Manchester for sure. Then in September I'm going to run Reach the Beach again with my team. And then in October... my marathon. I'm still not committed yet (I'm SCARED!!) because I might look for another one a little later in the month... but I am committed to the idea of a marathon in 07. I am so excited about it. To be back in the swing of things... right where I want to be.
Things are going great...
"Til Kingdom Come" - Coldplay
Steal my heart and hold my tongue.
I feel my time, my time has come.
Let me in, unlock the door.
I've never felt this way before.
The wheels just keep on turning,
The drummer begins to drum,
I don't know which way I'm going,
I don't know which way I've come.
Hold my head inside your hands,
I need someone who understands.
I need someone, someone who hears,
For you, I've waited all these years.
For you, I'd wait 'til kingdom come.
Until my day, my day is done.
And say you'll come, and set me free,
Just say you'll wait, you'll wait for me.
In your tears and in your blood,
In your fire and in your flood,
I hear you laugh, I heard you sing,
"I wouldn't change a single thing."
The wheels just keep on turning,
The drummers begin to drum,
I don't know which way I'm going,
I don't know what I've become.
For you, I'd wait 'til kingdom come,
Until my days, my days are done.
Say you'll come and set me free,
Just say you'll wait, you'll wait for me.
Just say you'll wait, you'll wait for me.
Just say you'll wait, you'll wait for me.
