Subject: Stuff and things.
Soo it's been the Pike for the past 2 weeks! Crazy. I hate the Pike, but it's a job and I make money. And I get to hang out with Marti! Let me tell you a little bit about my best friend from the Pike :) He's an almost 22-year old soccer player from Ware, MA. He's got bling in both ears and is a little bit of a pretty boy but altogether, he's a damn good guy that I enjoy spending time with... Even if I am at the Pike after all. Marti's a good kid and he helps pass the time... he even let me break his stress ball... which I'm still sorry about!! (P.S. Marti, if you actually read this, I'm kidding about the pretty boy... kind of... haha)
Running. It's been a really crazy couple of weeks. I've been busy as hell and fighting to try to run. But it's still happening, so I guess I can't complain. My times still suck... I am hoping some of that is due to the weather. Upcoming races: a 10-K in Darien (hopefully) and then the half-marathon on October 9th. For anyone reading this, I would LOVE some support before and after the race. I am going up probably a day or two beforehand (so I can settle in and check out the course) so anyone who wants to sleep on the floor of my hotel room (you think I'm giving up the bed? I think not!) PLEASE COME AND HANG OUT. It will be awesome, and I will never forget you for it.
Speaking of never forgetting, Tony and I chatted today. It's been a long time... and a really bizarre summer for the two of us. We haven't gotten to talk or hang out nearly as much as I had hoped. Our conversation this evening was encouraging though... "ToeNee11: I miss you too Kelly... me and you soon. :-)" So let's hope that happens, cause I miss my Tone!
