Subject: My heroes.

So I have heroes in every facet of my life. For example:

Writing: Dan Brown, Tami Hoag, Nora Roberts, Stephen King.
Music: Rich, Trish, Mimi.
Childcare: Vivain Gussin Paley and the teachers at the Child Labs ;) and no I'm not kidding, lol.
And then there is ATHLETICS/Running. Aside from Paula Radcliffe and a few other truly elite runners, another one of my athletic heroes is AJ Farrell. For the first time in forever, I took one of her spin classes tonight. It was awesome. I was soaked in sweat and dripping all over the floor and the bike but I loved it. AJ is a very attainable inspiration to me because she is amazing on a bike, and not only that, but she has the ability to motivate others to be as awesome as she is. I love that, and that is my favorite part of her class... (call me selfish, but) I love the way she makes me feel during a workout.

So hats off to you, AJ, cause you're my hero and you keep me motivated even when you're not there.

I am tired! I did a double workout today: I ran 5 in the morning and then had spin tonight. I covered more than enough of my mileage but I feel amazing. Yay!

Subject: The first rapps :)

Last night was so much fun! It was completely crazy being the sober one at rapps for once. Munchie and I just kind of stood around and watched all the drunken debauchery happen! We saw fights, make-out sessions, etc... crazy! Also-- Cody was INSANE for the latter half of the evening! I've never seen that boy quite that drunk before! It was so funny!

So the game yesterday was awesome. I had a really good time and it wasn't even the longest day ever, so it was actually fun. The halftime show went really well- I am really happy with the way my section is stepping up!

On Friday, I got truly frustrated with preschool for the first time. I just felt completely clueless, like I didn't have an idea of what I was doing. Preschool is so different from my toddlers... I really miss being around the toddlers all the time. Preschool is way different. So after being really frustrated when I left the child labs, I went to the gym for 2 hours and had a really good (mostly cardio) workout. I definitely needed to work out some of that stress. After the gym was a fairly grueling rehearsal and then our sax section leader dinner. And THEN! I went over to Trish, Em & Chris' and watching Money Pit, which was hilarious. But I have to admit that the best part about the movie was watching Chris roll around on the couch and laugh uncontrollably. The three of us laughed the majority of the time just at Chris. Quite funny.

Today is going to be a loooooong day... see ya on the other side!
