Subject: Running in the rain!!!

So I just showered after taking a nice run outside in the pouring rain. It was fantastic. I swear by running in the rain and I suggest you try it before you knock it! There's something about being completely soaking wet that keeps you going far beyond your usual motivation. If it ever rains on a race day, I will be a happy kid!

And no pain in my leg today... (knocks on wood) so yay!

Subject: Training and nice weather!

Sp the 4.25 mile week... and something is wrong with my leg. I can't describe it, but it's above my achilles and below my calf and man... it does not like to run. I'm trying some things to get it to be less mad at me (i.e. ice, heat, rest, etc) but so far, nothing has worked. So we'll see how that goes.

And the weather! It has been so nice out!! I'm talking low 60s, nice sun, nice breeze, ahhh. Of course today (and for the entire weekend) it is raining. But all the stupid freshmen on this campus had a chance to wear their short ass skirts and ugly boot things (or flip flops)... It was only 50! By the looks of the campus, though, it was about 75. Scantily clad girls all over the place.

So now I am heading off to work for the morning. Peace out y'all...
