So it's been awhile...

The past week has brought pretty good times! I worked Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, which made for a very tired me at the end of the day. I would come home and crash for an hour or two before hanging out with or even talking to people. The kids at work are awesome, they just make me really tired.

I've had lots of fun with the girls too. Munch, Katie, Lisa and I spend nights together and have an awesome time. We've been making "crafts" lately... The memory boards were awesome, and now we're working on boxes with collages on the sides. (We're such "crafty craftsmen"... haha) Looking forward to getting these things to school and putting them to use! Tuesday I visited Joe and Jay's new apartment in Warwick... awesome! Love the place.

I'm getting anxious. I'm inside the 10 day range of getting back to school, and the only things I have "packed" are the things that have remained in my chest all summer long: towels, sheets, and things I only use at school. I feel less prepared to pack this year, although I know it's not true. At least I know that less is more and that I can rotate wardrobes with seasons. Call me lazy, but I just plain don't want to do the packing. More like, I don't know where to start and I don't know why. I have pulled some things out of drawers and my closet, but they have just accumulated into a huge mess on my bedroom floor. (*sigh*) I need to get with it! In talking to everyone else, though, I find that I am not the only one feeling this way...

On a happier note, I got a ton of work done in the grad office today. I spent nealy 5 hours in front of the damn Macintosh, typing names and e-mail addresses and making lists and whatnot. No one was there: Dr. Mills was on vacation, and Marvin, Norm, or Justin weren't around. I was glad, b/c I had a ton to do and didn't want to be bothered. I didn't even take breaks... That's kind of my style though. When I get driven, I do it till it's over. And believe me, I'm glad it's over! The next thing to tackle is the newsletter, and I will start that tomorrow during my meeting with Tom Franklin.

Good weekend coming up. Tomorrow I'm meeting with Tom to get more work done, and then going to see American Pie 3 with Munch. Saturday I will head to Tony's for a cookout (or a cook-in, if the weather keeps at it...) and then to Warwick, RI for the night. Sunday, I have to babysit 3:30-8 and then probably hanging out with the girls again. We're good at that...

For now, I am tired. I'm kind of uneasy at the moment... but things will work out. I mean I don't have any big problems right now... I think I am just a little restless. Goodnight!

As extreme tiredness sets in, I just couldn't miss this one on the blog!

The concert was awesome tonight! We got there at about 5:30, walked around, bought t-shirts (yes, I now own an Aerosmith t-shirt, Galina would be proud!), etc. The concert got started at 7. Saliva opened. They weren't too bad, they had a few good songs, but most of it was just screaming and such. KISS put on an INCREDIBLE show. If you ask me, they pleased the crowd more than Aerosmith. It was so awesome. They also did 2 curtain calls, and Aerosmith didn't do any. Above all, I enjoyed Aerosmith's music more, but KISS had a better show. It was tons of fun, wow. My mom and I even bonded over enjoying the smell of weed around us... strange. But def a great show, I am very glad I went. The best parts were when Gene Simmons did the blood thing, and then got raised up onto the light staging... and when they did their last curtain call (Rock & Roll All Night)... and when Aerosmith did Dream On. AWESOME show.

Now, I am really tired. My feet ache from standing up the whole time! But, it was well worth it!

I wanna rock and roll all night, and party every day...

...but for now, I need to sleep! :)
