So, what a weekend. It all began with DP Dough on Thursday night with Jeff... believe it or not, I was fine that night.

Friday night was the fun night. I had cleared the whole weekend to do papers... I had 4 to write. So I ate dinner and then... well yeah. That was kind of the end of my "planned" weekend and the beginning of the weekend from hell. Friday night, I was SO SICK. Sorry for the detail but I could not stop vomiting so at 4 Saturday a.m., after laying in bed in the fetal position all night and not being able to hold anything down, not even water or medicine, I asked Becky and Frank (who waited on me hand and foot all night... thanks guys!) to take me to the infirmary. I made it there in one piece, but as soon as I got there and into the bathroom in my room, I was sick again and then I passed out. I was able to pull out of it long enough to get into bed, at which point they gave me a shot to make me hold something down. A few hours later, the shot failed me! So they sent an ambulance to bring me to Windham County. I spent 4 or 5 hours there, took in 2000 mL of NaCl via iv, had all sorts of anti-vomiting medicine via iv, and got a shot of MORPHINE. (Perhaps the best part of the weekend!) The morphine took the pain out of my stomach and (thankfully) out of my back as well. I was in miserable shape.

They sent me back to the infirmary until Jeff picked me up, then we came back here and spent the least quality time ever together. No fun being sick!!!!!!!!

Yesterday I was able to write 2 papers... today, one, despite the POWER OUTAGES!!!! My roommates and I had a quality game of Uno by (illegal) candlelight and then decorated in the darkness. Good thing the second time the power failed, I was in the shower. Let me tell you what an experience THAT was! Quite interesting...

This weekend is the band banquet. I'm still not sure I am ready to face everyone, but I guess I don't have much of a choice. I definitely know one part of the banquet I will be conveniently missing, though, that's for sure. But anyway, it should be an awesome weekend cause JEFF will be here with me the whole time. :)

So, before we lose power again after writing this huge entry, I bid thee farewell.

Oh yeah, and I got a hamster and his name is MURPH... he is soooo cute. And he's only a baby, awww... :)

Peace out.
